Candidates must have completed and approved apprenticeship program in a related machining
mechanical maintenance field or possess a minimum of five (5) years of experience in related
heavy industrial maintenance machining environment. Experience in the steel processing
industry preferred.

• Construct and repair metal parts, tools, and machines.
• Set up and operate all CNC and manual machine tools.
• Receive instructions, prints, sketches, and work orders.
• Study and interpret prints and specifications; plan and determine working procedures.
• Perform work utilizing knowledge of shop mathematics, machinist’s charts and tables,
  and working properties of metals.
• Set proper speeds and feeds on machines.
• Select and utilize al machinist hand tools.
• Operate machine to shape metal into desired part to precise dimensions with close
  tolerances prescribed.
• Exercise proper care of machinery and equipment.
• Able to work any shift and seven (7) days per week with the ability to request time off
  with adequate notice.
